This Hotel is hidden away in the center of Palma but is so quiet you would think you in the middle of country side but is located in the centre of the city.
We stayed in a well furnished room in a spanish style clean,confortable room and friendly staff recommending the best restaurants all within a short walk.

A gem of a hotel!

This family-run hotel is a true gem! One of the most beautiful and exquisite hotels I have ever stayed at. The rooms are spacious and decorated with antiques restored by the mother of the family. Our first room was a beautiful double with a jacuzzi, old paintings and stunning antique furniture. The penthouse suite to which we moved later takes one’s breath away with its regal atmosphere created by old paintings, antique books and furniture. The penthouse has its own terrace with deckchairs and a bathroom the size of a small ballroom with a Jacuzzi. The family who run the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved the hotel and would recommend it to anyone with appreciation of arts and antiques. I hated Palma and this hotel was the only thing that saved us from bitterness.

“I stayed in May for a week in 3 different rooms as no one room was available for the duration of my stay. They were all very nice but my favourite was room 4 with the dramatic stairway leading down into the room from the entrance. I agree with previous comments on the quality of this hotel, it was a pleasure to stay in. While the service is polite but unobtrusive, if you do want help or advice with anything, it is most generously given. Overall a very pleasant stay in one of the nicest cities I’ve visited recently.”

“We had a wonderful vacation in Mallorca…due in great part to our choice of hotel. the Dalt Murada was exceptional in every way…The rooms are excellent..and we had both a suite and a room…the breakfast in the courtyard was delightful…the staff is outstanding…They were most helpful in helping us with our plans for the day…restaurant reservations, etc…The location is great for all activities…So, in summary, I would rate the hotel OUTSTANDING!!! “We have just stayed at the Dalt Murada for a week, It was our wedding anniversary so we booked the penthouse suite. We were not dissapointed, everything from the views across Palma from the terrace to the double size bath, were spot on. The room was so large it was like having your own apartment in the centre of the old town, all it lacked was a kitchen. The sevice was low key and personal, we returned to our room on the night of our anniversary to find a chilled bottle of bubbley, courtesy of the hotel. The breakfast was well done, good coffee, bread, cheeses, pastries etc, and can be taken in the lovely courtyard complete with orange and lemon trees. I would recommend this hotel to anyone – it’s in the ideal position in the city, quiet, intimate, and if you are after a romantic break, the penthouse is perfect, and Palma is a great city. PS. Our taxi driver managed to get us right outside the hotel entrance.”

“The penthouse suite was wonderful with magnificent views from the terrace of the cathedral. Very informal, quiet, away from it all, although in the middle of the old city. The taxi also took us right to the door!. Only problem was the jacuzzi hottub was not working properly throughout our stay, but having reported it the staff got someone in immediately to try and fix it! Staff very helpful and attentive. Thoroughly nice place. Can’t fault the service and communication from My Escapes either. Thankyou. You’ll definately stay on my list.”

“A wonderful hotel. We were completely thrilled with the whole experience – from the private lift up to our penthouse suite, to the double jacuzzi to the wonderful views from the terrace – and especially the welcome from the owners. We actually arrived before the room was ready, but they led us to the courtyard and picked lemons from the trees to make us delicious and refreshing drinks while we waited. And their friendliness made the short visit – nothing was too much trouble. One thing which really amazed us was the peace and quiet of the place. In spite of being so close to the centre of the city, the only sounds at night were the chiming of the church bells – being so inaccessible to traffic had its advantages!”
